Instead, if you choose to use the basket, the lid won’t sit on the pan perfectly. We’ve seen this before in deep fryers and pots. We’d like to see better thoughtfulness from merchants.

Despite claims to be induction optimized, we don’t find that to be the case. There have been several claims that this stockpot doesn’t work well with induction stoves. We’d be very weary before paying this much for a stockpot if you have an induction stove-top.

Hard-Anodized: Hard anodized aluminum, depending on the grade, can be a great option for a deep fryer pot. It can take heat pretty well and it holds up fairly well overtime compared to many non-stick coatings.
