We simply do not recommend trying to deep fry a turkey at 250°F. Its simply too low of a temperature to give it a try. The oil is going to soak into the turkey heavily and it may prove difficult to heat up the turkey internally to properly fry the entire turkey. We recommend a temperature of at least 350°F.

Once again, we still feel 300°F is too low of a temperature. To properly deep fry the turkey from inside out, the temperature should be at least 350°F.
